The Mysteries of Ancient Egypt
For many people, the mysteries of Egypt are made of pharaohs, gods and mummies. It is known that the old Egyptians were obsesses with death and their culture was profoundly inveterated in eternal life.
The religion of the ancient Egypt was actually a complex system of rituals and beliefs, based on the need to preserve the cosmic order. To better understand the culture and the mysteries of the place, tourists can volunteer on an archaeological site for a day. There are still made discoveries about the ancient world, and in early 2006, for example, a new room was uncovered in the Valley of the Kings, called KV63. The discovery was possible thanks to the curiosity and effort of a group of tourists who have voluntarily participated in this action.
